The Tibetan Music

Tibetan lay music is extremely rich and varied, and owns a broad palette of different musical styles. The most famous of this music includes drama (Lhamo), folksongs (Lu/Shey), typical songs from Kham (Eastern Tibet) and Amdo (North-eastern Tibet), songs originated from Western Tibet (Töshey), Nangma songs, drinking songs (Chang-shey), State music (Gar), etc.

Among all these styles, Tshering Wangdu has especially mastered the repertoires of both Nangma and Töshey songs.
